Meadow House is a double-storey new-build extension shaped by light, proportion and a close relationship with its rural setting. Located on the edge of open meadowland, the project reinterprets the traditional gabled form through a calm, refined language of brick, timber and zinc.

Full-height windows frame long views across the landscape, bringing natural light deep into the interior and strengthening the connection between the house and its surroundings. The interplay of soft brickwork and vertical timber cladding grounds the structure in its context while adding warmth, rhythm and texture.

Inside, the spaces are arranged around openness, clarity and everyday comfort. A restrained natural palette, generous glazing and simple lines support a peaceful, contemporary lifestyle, maintaining a constant visual link to the outdoors.

Rooted in sustainability, the proposal prioritises natural materials, energy-efficient detailing and a design strategy that works with—rather than against—the landscape. Crafted with simplicity and tailored for modern living, Meadow House becomes a timeless, quietly confident addition to its setting.
