Studio AVC recently completed the refurbishment of an Edwardian terraced house in South West London, focusing on enlarging the space and redesigning the interiors within a limited budget. The project features a new single-storey rear extension, a roof conversion, and a reimagined open-plan interior. The design prioritizes maximizing light and space, with the ground floor layout opened up to create views towards the garden. The rear extension features full-height glazed folding doors, and fire-resistant sliding pocket doors enhance the open feel while adhering to regulations. The bathrooms were redesigned to maximize ergonomics and efficiency in the use of space.
